Eco-Terrorism 101: Harvard to Host Screening of ‘How to Blow Up a Pipeline’ — Website Includes ‘Take Action’ Page With Map of U.S. Pipelines

The film shows "young environmental activists execute a daring mission to sabotage an oil pipeline...that is part high-stakes heist, part radical exploration of the climate crisis."

Harvard Law School is set to host a screening of a film called “How to Blow Up a Pipeline” — whose website has a “Take Action” tab that includes a map of all the U.S. pipelines.

The romanticized eco-terrorism film will be screened on April 3 by the Harvard Law School Film Society and will include a discussion with director Daniel Goldhaber and Law Professor Jon Hanson.

The plot of “How to Blow Up a Pipeline“, which debuted last April, features “A crew of young environmental activists execute a daring mission to sabotage an oil pipeline in this taut and timely thriller that is part high-stakes heist, part radical exploration of the climate crisis,” according to the trailer’s description.

The film’s website notably has a “Take Action” page with an interactive map showing all of the oil and natural gas pipelines in the U.S.

“Act outside of the system,” the page states.

Exactly what kind of action the film’s creators encourage student climate activists to take is not particularly difficult to figure out.

Of course, the Ivy League university’s tacit call to commit eco-terrorism likely won’t receive the scrutiny of the Biden Justice Department.

Watch: Biden Lies About Taking TRAIN Over Francis Scott Key Bridge

Dementia Joe strikes again!

Joe Biden dropped a whopper of a lie during remarks Tuesday, falsely claiming he once traveled by train across the historic Francis Scott Key Bridge — despite the absence of a rail line.

Biden’s tall tale came during a statement on the Baltimore bridge collapse after it was struck by a massive barge transporting shipping containers.

“At about 1:30 a container ship struck the Francis Scott Key bridge, which I have been over many, many times commuting from the state of Delaware either by train or by car,” Biden said.

The problem is the “Key Bridge” has a four-lane highway and is completely devoid of train tracks.

The disingenuous comment immediately raised eyebrows on social media, where users called out Biden’s lie.

“Very impressive!” wrote X user Collin Rugg. “Biden, who appeared to be taking a train that didn’t need tracks to operate, said he remembers all the times he commuted on the bridge.”

Watch: TikTokkers Reveal Shocking Head Punch Attacks in NYC Streets

In separate videos, four women say they were walking in the Big Apple when the unexpected attacks occurred.

Multiple female social media influencers have reported being assaulted while walking the streets of New York City, with assailants suddenly coming out of nowhere and quickly punching the victims.

A spate of incidents have been documented on TikTok, illustrating a disturbing pattern of unwarranted attacks targeting innocent, vulnerable women.

In separate videos, four women say they were minding their own business walking in the Big Apple when the unexpected attacks occurred.

Influencer Jill Burke first described being assaulted in a video posted on Feb. 8th, showing off a black eye in her video she says was caused by a man who bashed her with a bag full of heavy objects.

The New York Post reports the NYPD is aware of, and actively investigating, the incidents:

“The NYPD confirmed the narratives of Kate and Brand, saying that a 23-year-old woman reported an assault at West 16th Street and 7th Avenue at 10:20 a.m. Monday, as with Kate’s report. She was treated at a medical facility for injuries to the left side of her face, cops said.”

On March 17, a 25-year-old was walking her dog just before noon at Kenmare and Mulberry streets when an “unknown individual punched her in the head,” according to officials when asked about Brand’s video.

It was unclear if the incidents were connected, police said.

The incidents are being compared to the senseless, unprovoked attacks targeting random people known as the “knockout game,” which began rising in popularity in big cities in 2012.

“We Need Somebody Disruptive”: Alex Jones, Former Bush Official Clash In Trump ZeroHedge Debate

Watch the full debate here and decide who won!

Last night kicked off the fifth ZeroHedge debate on the question: “Should Donald Trump be the next U.S. President?”

The debate featured Infowars host Alex Jones and former Trump campaign foreign policy adviser George Papadopoulos vs. independent journalist Michael Tracy and former George W. Bush White House ethics lawyer Richard Painter.

Tracey came in hot, accusing Trump of being two-faced for bashing special interests during the primary, while courting the donor class during the general election:

“[Trump] was calling out to Miriam Adelson — who’s the widow of Sheldon Adelson — and having private soirees with her, and she’s excepted to give millions of dollars to Trump’s next campaign. He even said it outright. He said because of Miriam’s late husband, [Trump] was compelled to move the U.S. embassy from Tel Aviv in Israel to Jerusalem.

Michael Tracey on Trump’s quoted tweet:https://t.co/vLlq5hS5Cu

— zerohedge (@zerohedge) March 26, 2024

In an enemy-of-my-enemy-is-my-friend spirit, Alex Jones argued that entrenched bureaucratic powers within the U.S. pose an existential threat. Thus, given that Donald Trump is the primary force standing in their way, he deserves mass support.

We need somebody disruptive,” said Jones.

Alex Jones: "That’s why we must back Trump all the way because if they can take down the popular front-runner in all the major polls, they can get everybody." pic.twitter.com/QpcxgG5p84

— zerohedge (@zerohedge) March 26, 2024

“Trump is the first President who has refused to follow the Constitution.”

Former chief ethics lawyer of the George W. Bush White House, Richard Painter, accused Trump of being the first President to disregard the Constitution regarding the transfer of power after the 2020 US election.

The comment did not go over well…

Richard Painter: "I am not going to participate in a debate when people are making things up."

Alex Jones: "I don’t know where you found this dinosaur from 50 years ago that tells us George W. Bush — the war criminal — is a good guy." pic.twitter.com/QtR1xgRYXv

— zerohedge (@zerohedge) March 26, 2024

Papadopoulos, meanwhile, offered an international perspective in favor of Trump – who he says keept US adversaries at bay. The former Trump adviser attributes this to siloing Russian exports and increasing NATO funding — while unleashing “the shale renaissance in the United States.”

Tracey hit back – arguing that such moves were in fact escalatory:

“Go read Putin’s speech before he launched the invasion of Ukraine in 2022, he cites multiple grievances with the U.S. administration, and half of them are to do with Trump… He hyper escalated tensions with Russia under the auspices of John Bolton, Mike Pompeo, and all the other hard-liners.

Papadopoulos: "[Trump] sanctioned Nord Stream to cut off the Russian economy from the Europeans…. He bolstered NATO’s defense spending… NATO members were committing to the 2% expenditure."

Tracey: "It’s just not consistent with this idea that… he’s not getting us into wars." pic.twitter.com/htdM9Rhd6z

Man Fatally Thrown Off NYC Subway Platform by “Career Criminal” Suspect

Murder at Manhattan subway station comes just hours after NYPD launches "Operation Fare Play" to allegedly crack down on transit crime

A suspect with a lengthy criminal record has been charged with murder after allegedly shoving a man off a subway platform into the path of a train in New York City this week, according to reports.

The shocking incident unfolded just before 7 p.m. on Monday evening in Manhattan.

A man was thrown in front of an oncoming train in a “unprovoked attack” at the busy 125th Street station in East Harlem.

The train was unable to stop and the victim, later identified as a 54-year-old resident of the Bronx, was struck and killed.

New York police later arrested Carlton McPherson, a 24-year-old male from the Bronx who has been arrested multiple times in the past and has a “history of mental illness,” according to officials.

“He was released without bail after he was arraigned on an October 31 arrest for assault, menacing, harassment and other charges in Brooklyn,” ABC 7 reports.

“He failed to show up for court twice and a judge issued a warrant for his arrest. He was picked up and brought to court on Jan. 11, where bail was set for $2,000 — which he posted. His next court date was set for July.”

That he is "emotionally disturbed" is obvious.

It's also clear that he killed someone for the sheer "joy" of killing someone. That is a criminal act, by definition.

You Will Own Nothing And Then You Will Die!

The middle class American homeowner’s dream is now an American renter’s nightmare.

Private Home Ownership, the Heart of the American Dream Is in cardiac arrest. New data reveals that economists have been sugar coating the rate at which financial Goliaths have been swallowing up America’s single family homes.

The previous number they estimated had already been a painful lowball of only 18-23% of single family homes being purchased. And economists predicted that they would own a staggering 60% by 2030. That lie was merely intended to help the poison go down.

Because in 2023, private equity firms bought up nearly half, 44% of all of the single family homes in America. The middle class American homeowner’s dream is now an American renter’s nightmare.

Private equity firms estimate to acquire at least 44% of American single family homes in 2024. And like everything else. The uniparty has done nothing other than to lowball the economists that got it wrong.

Highly Disturbing! Gay Chicago Veterinarian & Dog Show Judge Arrested On Child Porn Charges, Bragged Of Pedophilic Incest

Graphic court documents reveal vet said he'd drugged and raped his nieces and nephews, planned on molesting son after being birthed by surrogate mother

A 39-year-old Chicago area veterinarian and national dog show circuit judge named Adam Stafford King was recently arrested and charged with child porn crimes.

A criminal complaint made public Monday reveals the suspect was picked up by the FBI just before he was set to fly to California where a surrogate mother was going to give birth to a male child King and his husband were adopting.

According to the documents, King sent an individual who was being monitored by the FBI multiple child porn videos and continued chatting with that person after the feds arrested him and took over the account being used to talk to King.

While unknowingly chatting with feds, King said he was sexually attracted to children ages “0-9” of both genders and bragged he’d previously drugged and molested his niece and nephew.

He told the FBI, “I generally use Benadryl,” because it has a “wide safety margin,” and is “easy,” adding, “It generally takes 30-45 min. I usually double an adult dose.”

Prosecutors said other chat messages showed King expressing the desire to have a friend join him in raping his son since his husband is “a non perv.”

“I do love the idea of inviting a buddy over when I have my boy… just has to be someone I can trust obviously,” King reportedly wrote in the message.

When he was arrested, the FBI noted agents “observed King in the shower” with his iPhone despite multiple verbal announcements of the FBI’s presence,” in the home.

Prosecutors have asked that King be held without bond, but his attorney has requested his client be released on bond where he’d “live alone in the family’s home while the case is pending with no internet access or contact with anyone under the age of 18.”

Taiwanese Military Conducts Drills Involving US Patriot System

Goal of the drills was to improve the all-round combat capability of military defense operations, government says

The Taiwanese armed forces have conducted anti-aircraft drills involving US-made Patriot missile defense systems, the island’s defense ministry said on Tuesday.

The exercise was carried out from 5 a.m. to 7 a.m. local time (21:00-23:00 GMT, March 25), the ministry said in a statement. The goal of the drills was to improve the all-round combat capability of military defense operations.

The Taiwanese air force will continue to step up the intensity of drills, the statement said.

The statement quoted alleged “incursions by Chinese Communist Party aircraft and ships into the sea and airspace around Taiwan” and added that “the air force will continue to increase the intensity of drills” in order to respond to these alleged threats.

Taiwan has been governed independently of mainland China since 1949. Beijing views the island as its province, while Taiwan — a territory with its own elected government — maintains that it is an autonomous country but stops short of declaring independence. Beijing opposes any official contacts of foreign states with Taipei and considers Chinese sovereignty over the island indisputable.

Dominoes Falling as Biden Admin Deals With Twin Energy Crisis in Russia, Middle East

Crude markets are starting to pay attention as war risk premiums are being priced in

A twin crisis is unfolding for the Biden administration as the US tax-payer-funded Ukrainian military bombs key crude refineries deep within Russian territory with suicide drones.

The administration has pleaded with the Ukranians to halt strikes on Russian energy infrastructure as this will only contribute to tightening global supplies and push energy prices higher, as well as inflation in the US, hurting Biden’s re-election odds.

Now for the other crisis that’s unfolding in the Middle East: US Vice President Kamala Harris told ABC’s “This Week” that a major attack on the Gazan city of Rafah, where more than a million Palestinians have sought refuge, “would be a huge mistake.”

“We have been clear in multiple conversations and in every way that any major military operation in Rafah would be a huge mistake,” Harris said.

She added: “I have studied the maps – there’s nowhere for those folks to go. And we’re looking at about a million and a half people in Rafah who are there because they were told to go there.”

Harris was asked whether there would be “consequences” from the US on an Israeli counteroffensive in Rafah. She responded, “I am ruling out nothing.”

This comes as The Jerusalem Post said Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other senior officials say an operation into the southern Gazan city is “imminent.”

Bloomberg quoted Israeli intelligence that estimate about 5,000 to 8,000 Hamas fighters are in Rafah.

As we’ve explained before, in the note titled Terrified” Joe Biden Demands Ukraine Halt Strikes On Russian Refiners As It Is Sending Oil Prices Surging,” Biden’s foreign policy has been and always been about crude markets.

So, of course, the administration would march the clueless VP onto ABC yesterday to give Irasel a public warning about the consequences of launching a counteroffensive against Hamas in Rafah, because it’s not entirely about the poor Palestinians, but the prospect of a much wider conflict that could send crude prices into parabolic trajectories, thus reigniting US inflation and continuing to weigh on re-election odds.

Rapidan Energy Group wrote in a recent note that the “Axis of Resistance” (Iranian proxies in Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and Yemen) is “likely to intensify its attacks as Israel moves forward with the ground offensive in Rafah.”

“Israel would likely wait until the IDF consolidates control over Rafah and the Philadelphia corridor before risking a major confrontation with Hezbollah,” Rapidan noted.

An invasion of Rafah could be the beginning of a series of dominoes that spark several powder kegs in the region that would put US troops at risk once again. Recall when three US Army troops were killed and more than 30 injured in a drone attack in Jordan earlier this year. A restart of these types of attacks is at high risk after Israel attacks Rafah.

Last month, Rapidan raised its odds of a major Israeli military offensive in Lebanon from 30% to 40%. However, they “expect overall Israel-Hezbollah tensions will remain contained and that a diplomatic agreement will avert a major conflict.”

Given these mounting uncertainties in the Middle East and Russia, it’s only a matter of time before traders focus their attention on the Saudi Aramco Abqaiq Plants (read: “The Weaponization Of Crude Could Trigger The Next Financial Shock”), the largest crude stabilization plant in the world, as it could be in the crosshairs of Iran-backed Houthis.

Crude markets are starting to pay attention as war risk premiums are being priced in.

Gen. Flynn: Baltimore Bridge Collapse ‘A Black Swan Event’

'Black swans normally come out of the world of finance (not military).'

General Michael Flynn went to social media Tuesday morning to warn the recent ship collision that collapsed the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, Maryland, was a “Black Swan” event many people have been warning about for the past few months.

“This is a BLACK SWAN event,” Flynn said of the deadly bridge incident.

“Black swans normally come out of the world of finance (not military). The standard operating procedures for all U.S. ports, harbors, and bays that transit commerce and military activities are supposed to maintain an incredible level of discipline, rigor and awareness for these very type events to not occur (ever!), yet here we are.”

He added, “There are harbor masters for every single one of these transit points in America that are in charge of assuring the safety of navigation…start there.”

Pentagon’s ‘New’ Ukraine Aid Package Was Spent Months Ago – Report

$300 million allocated for Kiev in a stopgap US spending bill last week won’t go to new arms shipments, the outlet has said

A $300 million spending package for Ukraine approved by the US Congress last week will not provide fresh aid for Kiev because the money was actually spent months ago, Politico reported on Tuesday.

The allocation for Ukraine was part of a $1.2 trillion spending package signed by President Joe Biden on Saturday, which will ensure funding for the US government until October.

The $300 million goes into the Pentagon’s Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative (USAI), a mechanism used by Washington to funnel arms to Kiev, and which funds contracts for future arms and equipment deliveries. The money, however, “is not available for us to use now” due to how the initiative works, a US official told Politico on condition of anonymity.

In reality, the $300 million for Kiev was obligated back in November, when the Pentagon announced a support package which it said exhausted the remaining USAI funds. The Department of Defense has since reported that an accounting trick allows it to produce another military assistance package worth $300 million under existing authority.

It has reevaluated weapons drawn from its stockpile for Ukraine under a separate mechanism at net book value rather than replacement value, which tends to be higher. The approach, however, leaves a $10 billion hole in the Pentagon budget, since it doesn’t have enough funds to replenish its arsenal, officials admitted this month.

Continued American assistance to Kiev has been stifled by partisan divisions. The Republican-controlled House of Representatives is blocking over $60 billion in funding for Ukraine that the White House has been demanding for months.

The additional funds in the stopgap bill were approved by lawmakers this week in a moment of bipartisanship, even if symbolic rather than practical, Politico said.

Speaker Mike Johnson has indicated that a vote on further Ukraine aid may happen after the threat of a government shutdown in 2024 is alleviated. The chamber, however, is currently in recess, meaning any progress is unlikely before April.

Moscow has accused the West of waging a proxy war against Russia, using Ukrainians as cannon fodder. No amount of Western aid will alter the outcome of the conflict, Russian officials have insisted, warning that arms deliveries also stand in the way of a reasonable peace deal.

UN Vote Unlikely to Signal Change in US Policy Towards Israel

Biden admins signals passivity towards proposed ceasefire in Gaza

The Biden administration signaled passivity, but not support towards a proposed ceasefire in Gaza during a vote on the matter at the United Nations on Monday.

The move made headlines as the United States’ abstention marked a shift from the country’s previous three vetoes of similar Security Council resolutions.

But analyst Mark Sleboda warns of reading too far into the incident, claiming the current rift in US-Israel relations is more of a matter of animosity between the countries’ leaders than a genuine change in their military relationship.

“As to [Israeli President] Benjamin Netanyahu, Bibi and Biden, this is a broken bromance,” said the researcher and international relations expert on Sputnik’s Political Misfits program on Monday. “I don’t know if it was ever a bromance, actually, between the two, but all the indications are that this is not indicative of some larger change in US foreign policy considering the influence of AIPAC in the US and the longstanding US security relationship with Israel. That would actually be very momentous if it was true.”

“Everything we’ve heard in the Western press is that Biden personally has problems with Netanyahu,” added Sleboda. “It seems [to be] not so much what he’s doing, but the way he’s going about it and his complete lack of political damage control which is making Joe Biden’s life and his reelection more difficult.”

The analyst said a halt in US lethal aid flowing to Israel would be evidence of a genuine shift in relations between the two longtime allies. The death toll in Gaza currently stands at over 32,000, with the majority of casualties thought to be of Palestinian civilians. Israel has been engaged in an assault on the enclave since early October.

Biden’s antipathy toward Netanyahu likely extends back to the administration of former US President Barack Obama, when Biden served as vice president. Netanyahu opposed Obama’s attempts to pursue diplomacy with Iran, preferring military confrontation with the country of 88 million.

Netanyahu’s attempts to undermine Obama extended as far as giving a televised address to a session of the US Congress blasting the US president’s policy.

Despite the open hostility, Obama still provided Netanyahu with Israel’s largest military aid package in history before leaving office.

Whatever rift existed between the current US president and Netanyahu seemed to have briefly healed as a sobbing Biden embraced the Israeli Prime Minister in Tel Aviv in the aftermath of Hamas’ October 7 uprising. But Netanyahu has repeatedly embarrassed Biden in recent months with his blatant defiance of US calls for restraint.

“We’ve already seen other potential Israeli politicians inside the unity government doing a tour of London and Washington,” noted Sleboda, “positioning themselves, it seems to me, to be the next prime minister of Israel with the US’ support.”

Observers have speculated Biden may prefer a more outwardly moderate figure like opposition leader Benny Gantz.Sleboda stated the primary concern for Biden currently is that Israel will undertake a violent incursion into Rafah, where over 1.5 million Palestinians are sheltering. Besides generating public opposition, such a move would likely also damage the United States’ relationship with Egypt if Palestinians are forced to seek refuge in the Sinai Desert.

Egypt has been one of the largest recipients of US foreign aid dating back to the late 1970s, when US President Jimmy Carry oversaw the signing of the Camp David Accords which guaranteed Egyptian backing of Israel. The United States has stifled Egyption democracy in the decades since, supporting a coup against elected President Mohamed Morsi to ensure a pro-Israel leader holds power in the country.

US support for Israel has apparently done little to generate gratitude among average Israelis. A 2009 video filmed by journalist Max Blumenthal demonstrated widespread racist attitudes among the Israeli public, with Israelis calling then US President Obama the N-word among other racial slurs.

My 2009 video, "Feeling the Hate in Jerusalem," has been banned by YouTube, Vimeo & virtually every other platform.

JPMorgan to Launch Biometric Payment System as Next Step in Orwellian Financial Surveillance

The convenience and security of never being without your credit card is here for users who will take a mark in the forehead or hand to be able to buy and sell.

JPMorgan has announced that it will be launching a biometric payment system next year, helping it keep up with other major financial corporations like MasterCard and Visa.

The country’s biggest bank will be using PopID for the project, a technology that uses facial recognition and other methods to verify the identity of an individual.

Pilot projects are already underway, with one of the first trials taking place at the Formula 1 race in Miami. More trials are planned for this year, with a broad rollout expected to follow next year.

According to JPMorgan, this approach will be safer and quicker than traditional methods of authentication and will work in e-commerce as well as in-person checkouts. By incorporating biometrics into checkout, shoppers will not have to take the time to enter e-mail addresses for digital receipts or phone numbers to receive loyalty points, for example.

For stores, the bank is promising better customer loyalty and greater turnover, as well as a centralized place for accessing transactions. Although the system will be offered to all businesses, the bank is particularly pushing quick-service restaurants, convenience stores, grocery stores and event venues to embrace the technology.

The main benefit to JPMorgan is obvious: the opportunity to amass a treasure trove of biometric data. They will also be selling merchants tablets for processing the payments and collecting transaction processing fees. However, businesses will also have the option of supplying their own device; the bank says that a checkout counter simply needs a tablet with a camera that can take a picture of a shopper’s face to process the payment.

Users who are not afraid of sharing their biometric data with JPMorgan can enroll in the program and verify their identity using biometrics before they will be able to use this payment method at self-service machines and checkouts. They will have the option to use a palm, fingerprint, or face scan to complete their checkout.

In their announcement of the new system, JPMorgan noted that forecasts by Goode Intelligence indicate that biometric payments will reach 3 billion global users in the next two years and $5.8 trillion in value.

Many people are understandably hesitant to use this type of technology, and JPMorgan has assured customers it will be using best practices related to consent, privacy, data minimization and transparency. The executive director of biometrics and identity solutions at the bank, Prashant Sharma, said: “There is a perceived sensitivity towards biometrics. We feel that it is also our job to continue to create that confidence.”

JPMorgan also believes that as this approach enjoys greater adoption across a range of businesses, consumer confidence should increase.

Experts warn consumers about the dangers of biometrics

However, some experts have warned that the technology is not quite as secure as it may sound. Although it is true that a person’s face or palm cannot go missing the way that a credit card might, artificial intelligence technology is growing increasingly sophisticated and can be used even by those without much technological knowledge to make fake versions of an individual’s handprint, face, or voice to trick these payment systems. There is also the possibility that the databases where people’s biometric data is being stored could be hacked.

Once your biometric data has been stolen, you have very little recourse. While credit cards can be replaced, replacing your palm or face isn’t really an option.

People’s biometric data is some of the most sensitive data that exists, and it is crucial to protect it at all costs. Although banks and stores have a lot to gain by convincing people to embrace this technology, consumers have everything to lose.

Investigative Journalist Reports Live From Palestinian Genocide In Gaza

VIDEO: Trump Responds to New York Real Estate Bond Being Lowered

The former Republican president leads in the polls and is expected to win bigly, unless his opponents are successful in all out election theft or massive voter fraud.

Former President Donald Trump gave his retort to the seemingly insurmountable bond price being lowered in the property crime case against him, a move that prevents all his assets from being stripped of him by his political opposition during the middle of a heated election year.

“So what they do is they do election interference, which is court cases and let’s try and tie him up and let’s take as much of his money as possible,” Trump said.

The case is based upon the allegation that decades ago, the New York real estate tycoon overvalued his Florida estate, Mar-a-Lago, despite the lending-party appraisers at the time of the loan agreeing on the valuation, and the mortgage writer being made whole, a victimless situation.

“He values Mar-a-Lago at $18 million and people say it’s worth 50 to 100 times that much, the biggest experts in the business,” Trump said. “So he ought to be looked at and [Letitia] James ought to be looked at.”

VIDEO: President of Mexico Holds America Hostage

Mexico's top leader gives the U.S. an ultimatum - amnesty for illegal aliens or more illegal aliens.

On his Monday show, Alex Jones covered a recent interview where Mexican President Andrés Obrador said that if the U.S. doesn’t legalize millions of illegal aliens, Mexico will keep bombarding the border with them.

“The flow of migrants will continue,” he said.

In response to criticism that the Mexican President is committing diplomatic blackmail, Obrador said he always says what he thinks and feels, implying he really does wish to hold America hostage with the threat of demographic suicide via mass illegal immigration.

German Doctor Refuses to Treat AfD Politician

This is the second such case in Baden-Württemberg.

A doctor in the German state of Baden-Württemberg refuses to treat one of his patients because he is a local politician in the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party.

The doctor’s decision was reportedly sparked when he saw a photo in the local newspaper of the politician, Heiko Nüßner, at an event for his party’s city association in Lahr. Based on this photo, the doctor told him to find a new practice due to their “clearly different political views.”

Nüßner, who previously served as a Christian Democrat (CDU) politician for 26 years, told Bild newspaper that he was “very surprised by this reaction, as he had never spoken to the doctor about his politics. He described the interaction with the general practitioner as “very undemocratic.”

The AfD politician said, “I was disappointed with the CDU because of its euro and migration policy as well as its exit from nuclear energy. For me, the AfD is the ‘new CDU’ and by no means right-wing extremist.”

The AfD politician suffered an accident three years ago that he left him confined to a wheelchair. When he asked the doctor for a prescription at the beginning of March, he was denied treatment. Nüßner shared a copy of the email exchange shared between him and the doctor, whose name was not disclosed by Nüßner or Bild.

The doctor has responded to Bild, saying that the photo of the politician was only the “icing on the cake.”

“I had already found the patient very unpleasant beforehand, with his demanding and pushy nature,” he said. According to medical ethicists, denying treatment based on “unpleasant” attitudes or because you do not agree with the politics of your patient does not meet medical standards. However, for patients who represent a threat or a major disturbance to a medical practice, doctors are permitted to deny care, but only if there is no immediate medical threat.

The doctor claimed however that the medication requested by Nüßner was “not vital.”

According to the Bild interview with the doctor, he did want to support any “undemocratic tendencies,” as the AfD is being monitored for extremism by the Office of the Protection of the Constitution (BfV), a powerful domestic spy agency.

He said if the AfD politician needed acute care, he would treat him and anyone else “regardless of their ideology.”

In 2021, AfD candidate Andrea Zürcher also had her general practicioner cancel her care, also in the state of Baden-Württemberg. In Zürcher’s case, the doctor also learned about her political activity from a photo in a local newspaper.

“He said that the relationship of trust had been destroyed as a result and that he could no longer give 100 percent in my treatment,” the woman said, who suffer from a chronic illness.

A third of Germans say they would consider voting for the Alternative for Germany, and a majority of Germans — at least in some polls — say they could support a government coalition that includes the AfD. However, there is still a sizeable share of the population adamantly opposed to the party. In the case of doctors, refusal of treatment is considered a serious ethical quandary. Such cases may increase political polarization in Germany.

If Republicans Succeed at Banning TikTok, You Can Say Goodbye to Infowars And Brighteon Too

Legislation has its true sites on the tip of the spear in the fight against the New World Order.

Conservative lawmakers are utterly embarrassing themselves by trying to ban TikTok while also claiming to support free speech and the First Amendment.

Republicans’ goal is to simply put a stop to TikTok, and no other social media platform, because the social media app is Chinese (fact check: TikTok’s CEO is Shou Zi Chew, a Singaporean). However, it is not that simple, and the right is learning this in real-time while also making a complete fool of itself.

Legislation called the RESTRICT Act, short for the “Restricting the Emergence of Security Threats that Risk Information and Communications Technology Act” – yikes that’s a mouthful – would allow the Secretary of Commerce to blacklist any tech product, service, or company linked to a “national adversary,” in this case China, as decided by the secretary.

So, what exactly is a “foreign threat?” That is a good question. And how would the secretary mitigate it in the context of a platform like TikTok? That is another good question. The answer to both of these questions is the same: whatever the Secretary of Commerce arbitrarily decides.

The RESTRICT act, which is ostensibly being put in place to ban TikTok, is actually a Trojan horse for full government surveillance—and a total end to your right to privacy. pic.twitter.com/07wogYzQ1H

— Catch Up (@CatchUpFeed) March 28, 2023 RESTRICT Act, the PATRIOT Act for the internet

The obvious problem with the RESTRICT Act is its subjectively broad-reaching definitions for things like “foreign threat” and “mitigation.” Just about anything could, in some stretch of the imagination, be dubbed a foreign threat and targeted as such for elimination.

This means that not just TikTok but all sorts of other platforms, including Infowars and Brighteon, could find themselves being targeted for elimination based on the “foreign threat” concept.

As Greg Price explained on X, the RESTRICT Act is basically just the PATRIOT Act, for those who lived through 9/11, but for the internet.

“It gives the government the ability to go after anyone they deem as a national security risk at which point they can access everything from their computer to video games to their Ring light,” Price warns.

“Believe it or not, it gets even worse: If you [sic] find you in violation, they can put you in jail for 20 years, fine you $1M, and seize your property … They can also deem any foreign government an adversary without informing congress [sic] and everything they do is not subjected to FOIA.”

In other words, Republicans in Congress are trying to pass what amounts to a Stasi Act right here in the United States because they simply cannot stand the fact that TikTok is allowed to exist and be used in this country.

What is worse, the Biden regime is in full agreement with the proposition of a RESTRICT Act, stating that it is “very in favor” of its passage. This just goes to show that right and left are just two wings on the same bird.

“Republicans, mindlessly seeking a big win against China and tech, now that both are popular punching bags, nearly sleepwalked into passing a disastrous law,” warns Revolver.

“The RESTRICT Act is a classic D.C. ploy. Savvy operators, exploiting the right’s well-intentioned desire to combat China, offered them a temporary victory to lure them into a permanent long-term calamity.”
