Odessa Area Methamphetamine Ring Members Sentenced to Federal Prison

MIDLAND, Texas - A federal judge sentenced the last of six defendants who were operating a methamphetamine distribution ring throughout the Odessa area. The judge sentenced 42-year-old Jeremy David Farley, aka “Biker,” to 30 years in federal prison for conspiring to distribute approximately 27 kilograms of methamphetamine throughout the Odessa area, announced U.S. Attorney Ashley C. Hoff, Odessa Police Chief Mike Gerke and DEA Special Agent in Charge Kyle Williamson, El Paso Division.

DEA to hold 20th National Prescription Drug Take Back Day

HOUSTON – With opioid overdose deaths increasing during the pandemic, the Drug Enforcement Administration is holding its 20th Take Back Day on Saturday, April 24th. DEA’s October 2020 Take Back Day brought in a record-high amount of expired, unused prescription medications, with the public turning in close to 500 tons of unwanted drugs. Over the 10-year span of Take Back Day, DEA has brought in more than 6,800 tons of prescription drugs.

East Haven Man Sentenced to 60 Months for Drug Distribution and Gun Possession

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – DEA New England Division Special Agent in Charge Brian D. Boyle and Leonard C Boyle, Acting United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, announced that Jesus Manuel Valle, also known as “LoLo,” 24, of East Haven, was sentenced today by U.S. District Judge Jeffrey A. Meyer in New Haven to 60 months of imprisonment, followed by four years of supervised release, for narcotics distribution and firearm possession offenses.

New York Man Sentenced on Federal Drug Charge

Uncle of Drug Trafficking Ring Leader Pleads Guilty for his Role in Narcotics Conspiracy Operating in the Jamestown, NY Area

BUFFALO, N.Y. – U.S. Attorney James P. Kennedy, Jr. and U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration Special Agent in Charge Ray Donovan, New York Division announced today that Garland Beardsley a/k/a Charlie Beardsley, 53, of Jamestown NY, pleaded guilty before U.S. Magistrate Judge Michael J. Roemer to conspiring to possess with intent to distribute, and distributing, 50 grams or more of methamphetamine. The charge carries a mandatory minimum penalty of 10 years in prison, a maximum of life, a fine of $10,000,000.

San Diego Man Sentenced to 188 Months in Fentanyl Overdose Death

SAN DIEGO – Jeffrey Alden Blair was sentenced today by U.S. District Judge Anthony J. Battaglia to 188-months in prison for supplying the fentanyl that led to the fatal overdose of 45-year old Derrick Hotchkiss, a long-time rugby player for the San Diego Old Aztecs Rugby Football Club. Through his plea agreement, Blair admitted that the fentanyl he dealt caused Hotchkiss’ death and that he knowingly sold in excess of 400 grams of fentanyl.

DEA 360 Maine and Partners Host Two Day Virtual Town Hall Summit

DEA’s Strong Partnerships in South Dakota Result in Higher Drug Seizures for 2020

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) saw a jump in drug seizures across South Dakota in 2020, as compared to 2019, with methamphetamine topping the list of most commonly seized drugs at 150 pounds. By comparison, in 2019, DEA investigators seized 29 pounds of methamphetamine, half the weight of South Dakota’s largest 2020 single seizure weighing 59 pounds.

Methuen Man Sentenced to Eight Years in Prison for Fentanyl Distribution

Mendell announcement today that Alexsander Padro, 28, of Methuen, MA was sentenced by U.S. District Court Chief Judge F. Dennis Saylor IV to eight years in prison and four years of supervised release.

Duplin County Methamphetamine Trafficker Receives More than 11 Years in Federal Prison

WILMINGTON, N.C. – Jason Hyland, 39, of Duplin County, was sentenced yesterday to 134 months in prison for Conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute and distribute 500 grams or more of a mixture and substance containing methamphetamine and possession with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of a mixture and substance containing methamphetamine.
