El Paso Man Sentenced to Federal Prison for Trafficking Meth and Assaulting Co-Defendant

EL PASO - A federal judge in El Paso sentenced 53-year-old Gerardo Paz to 190 months of imprisonment followed by five years of supervised release for methamphetamine trafficking and assaulting his co-defendant while in custody, announced U.S. Attorney Ashley C. Hoff; FBI Special Agent in Charge Luis Quesada, El Paso Division; and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Special Agent in Charge Kyle Williamson, El Paso Field Office.

Norcross Cousins Sentenced for Operating Meth Lab

ATLANTA - Zury Brito-Arroyo, Bonifacio Brito-Maldonado, and Roberto Arroyo-Garcia have been sentenced to federal prison for manufacturing and distributing methamphetamine in a home where a minor child resided and within 1,000 feet of a school. The three men, all of whom had illegally entered the United States from Mexico, utilized a family home in Norcross less than 200 feet from an elementary school to operate a methamphetamine laboratory.

NEW YORK – Ray Donovan, Special Agent in Charge of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration New York Division, and Audrey Strauss, the United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York that Adriano Rodriguez-Diaz, Ironellys Paulino-Nolasco, and Robert Nunez were charged in a criminal complaint filed in Manhattan federal court with narcotics importation, narcotics trafficking, and firearms offenses.

Madison Physician Agrees to Pay $110,000 to Resolve Allegations of Controlled Substance Prescribing Violations

MADISON, Wis. – Special Agent in Charge Robert J. Bell, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) – Chicago Division and Acting United States Attorney Timothy M. O’Shea announced that David E. Eckerle, M.D., a Madison, Wisconsin physician, entered into a settlement agreement to pay $110,000 to resolve civil allegations that he violated the Controlled Substances Act (CSA) related to the manner in which he was prescribing opioids and other controlled substances.  

Federal Grand Jury in Chicago Indicts Five Alleged Associates of Sinaloa Cartel on Drug Trafficking Charges

CHICAGO - Robert J. Bell, Special Agent in Charge of the Chicago Division of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and John R. Lausch, Jr., United States Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois announced, a federal grand jury in Chicago has indicted five suspected associates of the Sinaloa Cartel on drug trafficking charges for allegedly conspiring to distribute cocaine in the Chicago area.  One defendant was recently extradited to the United States to face the charges.

Norwalk Man Sentenced to 10 Years for Third Federal Narcotics Conviction

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – DEA New England Division Special Agent in Charge Brian D. Boyle and Leonard C Boyle, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, announced that Domenico Sandalo, 46, of Norwalk, was sentenced today by U.S. District Judge Vanessa L. Bryant to 120 months of imprisonment, followed by eight years of supervised release, for trafficking cocaine and other drugs.  Judge Bryant also ordered Sandalo to pay a $5,000 fine.

Former Bristol Resident Sentenced to 51 Months for Fentanyl and Crack Cocaine Dealing

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – DEA New England Division Special Agent in Charge Brian D. Boyle and Leonard C Boyle, Acting United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, announced that Elkie Crump, also known as “40,” 39, was sentenced today by U.S. District Judge Janet C. Hall to 51 months of imprisonment, followed by three years of supervised release, for fentanyl and crack cocaine distribution offenses.
